Requirements
  • Education: B.Sc. (Chemistry) or Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
  • Work Experience: 6–7 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing plant.
  • Preferred Location: Candidates from nearby industrial areas such as Ankleshwar, Bharuch, Dahej, Jhagadia, and Panoli will be given preference.
Responsibilities
  • Carry out all activities safely and maintain good housekeeping during the shift.
  • Adhere to safety rules, PPE requirements, and ensure proper completion of work permits (general, hot work, confined space, and working at height) in line with EHS/RC requirements.
  • Ensure correct hazard labeling across the plant, maintain compatibility in chemical storage, and strictly follow MSDS/Standard Work Procedures (SWP) before chemical usage.
  • Comply with plant-relevant RC codes (Process Safety, Environmental Protection, and Organizational standards) and complete all associated checklists.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of PPE, eye wash stations, safety showers, fire extinguishers, and other equipment as per RCSD procedures and guidelines.
  • Report accidents and incidents promptly, participate in root cause analysis, and support implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Segregate and dispose of waste in accordance with defined procedures.
  • Actively participate in departmental safety committee meetings, HIRA/JSA activities, and mandatory Basic Safety/RC training, ensuring timely compliance with EHS trackers and RC audit recommendations.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 45001, RCMS, Halal, NSF, and safety audits.

Solenis reports 74% of revenue from sustainable solutions as it integrates recent acquisitions

Solenis, a global provider of water and hygiene solutions, has released its 2025 Sustainability Report, detailing progress driven by business growth and integration. The company invested $4.68 million in sustainable capital projects, improved workplace safety by 22% year-over-year, and achieved 96% participation in its culture survey. The report highlights $349 million in documented customer value delivered through its ValueAdvantage programme, up from $257 million previously. Additionally, 74% of revenue came from solutions supporting customer sustainability initiatives, whilst 91% of active innovation programmes focused on sustainability or circularity. Solenis completed integration of recent acquisitions and announced the acquisition of NCH Corporation, which closed in November 2025. The company also opened a new Global Research Center in Delaware to develop solutions for water stewardship and resource efficiency.
