Job Summary
Overall accountability for alignment of Commercial programs, initiatives and projects against Business Strategies to deliver expected performance results metrics.
Key partner and direct report to the Chief Commercial Officer to drive the development of a multi-year plan in alignment with strategic priorities and KPIs.
Govern all related program management activities to ensure timely execution of priorities while validating deliverable of expected results are met.
Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct the development, prioritization, and execution of key business strategies across Commercial Organization to ensure timelines and results are delivered.
Lead M&A diligence and integration on behalf of the Commercial Organization. Create, implement and enforce standards to control project cost, timeline, and integration by creating and following guidelines, specifications, and project objectives and setting performance requirements.
Lead the preparation of materials for key internal executive meetings and presentations
Govern multiple cross-functional projects, managing efforts to support sustainable best practices and complex, organization-wide projects; managing expectations of program and project leadership; and adjusting approaches in response to changing business demands.
Establish a governance structure and manage the bottom-up improvement projects by reviewing data; determining needed solutions that fit local needs and can be leveraged across sales channels; and collaborating with cross-functional teams regarding support for solutions.
Monitor performance trends against targets and project commitments to alert senior leadership of risks and potential shortfalls on business objectives.
Manage resource allocation for prioritized projects and facilitate the review and re-prioritization of projects to adequately support the current and future business needs.
Support the clear communication of business priorities and initiatives to the entire Organization to ensure cross functional alignment and clarity of expectations across all internal and external stakeholders.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Science, Supply Chain, Communications, Project Management or related field.
Work Experience:
At least 8 years of overall professional business experience.
At least 4 years’ experience in Program or Project Management.
At least 4 years of experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Proven conceptual and strategic thinker who is capable of distilling, organizing, and presenting complex information in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
Highly skilled in time management such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating teams to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.
Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent communication skills.
Advanced level skill in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project).
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Certification / Licensure:
Certification / Licensure Project Management (PMP) certification.
Work Experience:
Work Experience Continuous Improvement leader in an advanced Lean or TPM organization.
