Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills to assess competitive strategies and propose effective responses.

  • A technical degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
  • Support the Sr. Director in building and implementing an effective competitive intelligence program, focusing on Elastic’s Observability.
  • Track, analyze, and communicate competitive developments, providing timely and impactful responses to market changes and competitor actions.
  • Build compelling enablement materials, such as battle-cards, competitor bulletins, and positioning slides, to highlight Elastic's differentiation in the Observability space.
  • Collaborate on the Win/Loss program efforts, analyzing data to advise sales strategies and product decisions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Observability market, including competitive dynamics and SWOT evaluations.
  • Provide actionable insights to the sales and solutions engineering teams to improve their competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product management, and sales to craft competitive positioning strategies and influence product roadmap development.
  • Participate in industry events to monitor trends and keep the organization informed of competitive shifts and market opportunities.
