- PhD degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, or related engineering field with a graduation date between June 2023-June 2024
- Knowledge of vacuum process, equipment, metrologies, and thin film dry etch fundamentals
- Hands-on experience in vacuum process development in a clean room environment, especially in dry chemical etch area
- Experience with Design of Experiments (DoE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Advanced Process Control (APC), and JMP is a plus
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse teams and people from different backgrounds
- Strong quality mindset
- Participate in process development and manufacturing implementation of new RIE processes and technologies
- Process sustaining, improvement, and production line support
- Document processes and procedures, train and certify technicians/operators, and conduct periodic audits
- Plan and manage projects with limited supervision
- Work cross-functionally with other teams to transfer and implement new products, processes, and tooling into production
- Troubleshoot line issues, conduct defect analysis and root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve yield, cycle time, and cost
