Requirements
  • PhD degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, or related engineering field with a graduation date between June 2023-June 2024
  • Knowledge of vacuum process, equipment, metrologies, and thin film dry etch fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience in vacuum process development in a clean room environment, especially in dry chemical etch area
  • Experience with Design of Experiments (DoE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Advanced Process Control (APC), and JMP is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to find correlation among large amounts of available data
  • Ability to make decisions and execute them in a timely manner
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and people from different backgrounds and departments
  • Strong quality mindset
  • Acceptance of different opinions
Responsibilities
  • Participating in process development and manufacturing implementation of new RIE processes and technologies
  • Process sustaining, improvement, and production line support
  • Documenting processes and procedures, training and certifying technicians/operators, and conducting periodic audits
  • Planning and managing projects with limited supervision
  • Working cross-functionally with other teams to transfer and implement new products, processes, and tooling into production
  • Troubleshooting line issues, conducting defect analysis and root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to improve yield, cycle time, and cost
