- Proven experience as a maintenance manager or in another managerial role.
- At least five years of supervisory experience.
- Experience planning maintenance operations.
- Solid understanding of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and related technical areas.
- Working knowledge of facility machines and equipment, including pumps and motors.
- Ability to track and report on activities.

- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems, such as Limble.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience executing work involving confined-space entry, lockout/tagout, hot work, working at heights, and powered industrial vehicles.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Develop maintenance procedures and ensure their implementation.
- Inspect facilities to identify and resolve issues.
- Check building electrical and hydraulic systems to ensure functionality.
- Plan and oversee repair and installation activities.
- Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff, including custodians and janitors.
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Monitor expenses and control the maintenance budget.
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
- Maintain maintenance logs and report daily activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
- A valid Certified Maintenance Manager credential.
- Previous experience with forklift trucks and front-end loaders.
