Summary:
CFGI is actively seeking a seasoned Transaction Support leader with a strong track in service delivery, practice growth, and business development. This pivotal role involves leading the refinement of our transaction transformation support approach, shaping our go-to-market strategy, identifying market opportunities, and growing our differentiating team of professionals. This leader will utilize their network of professional connections and identify opportunities in the market to grow this practice for CFGI.
Key Responsibilities:
·Work closely with the firm leadership team on defining the mid-term and long-term strategy for the transaction support and transformation practice.
·Support the evolution of our service delivery approach in the areas of IPO Readiness, Private Equity 1st 100 Days, M&A transactions such as carve-outs and integrations, Life Sciences Commercialization, etc.
·Oversee the finance assessment, planning and definition of transformation roadmap for transactions support projects.
·Provide support on strengthening our brand as trusted business transformation advisors in the transaction finance transformation support space.
·Identify gaps in existing transaction support team from competency and hiring perspectives, define plan for hiring and skills development to address those gaps.
·Partner with other CFGI groups on go-to-market strategy, account planning, opportunity identification, proposals and project deliveries.
·Lead responses to RFPs, tailor proposals, lead orals, and deliver presentations to potential clients to secure new business and grow existing accounts.
·Bring their own network of professional contacts that can grow our targets both on logos and numbers.
·Stay updated on recent transactions and planned transactions in the market that can impact our plans, targets and delivery strategies.
·Provide leadership oversight over the planning, delivery, and closure of transaction support projects.
·Lead the assignment of resources on the projects to achieve required alignment of skills, skills development plans and target utilization targets.
·Provide leadership oversight over the planning, delivery, and closure of transaction transformation support projects.
·Monitor and follow up with project leads on project budgets, billing, and collections.
·Manage the performance evaluation processes and ensure fair practices are in place, while aligning results to overall performance targets.
Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field, a Master’s degree is highly preferred.
·At least 15 years of experience in transaction support and finance transformation.
·At least ten years of experience interacting with CFOs, Controllers and M&A leadership in public companies.
·Demonstrated a track record in transaction support and transformation, as well as driving business growth in a consulting environment.
·Deep understanding of impact of different types of M&A activities on financial operations, processes and technology landscape and best practices.
·Strong people agenda and ability to oversee ongoing projects simultaneously.
·Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with executives.
·Sharp analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, dedicated to delivering effective solutions and adding value to clients.
·Passionate about client service.
·Willingness to travel as necessary to meet with potential and existing clients and attend firm wide events.
