  • A track record of leading IT projects, including rollouts, vendor transitions, and migrations, end to end, on time and on budget.
  • Comfort managing outcomes through a vendor or team rather than performing the technical work personally.

  • Oversee infrastructure basics, including hardware, software, and networks, at an operational level, holding vendors and staff accountable for reliability and uptime.
  • Manage core enterprise applications, including Google Workspace, the customer relationship management system, and CentralReach, and keep them running smoothly day to day.

  • Build working relationships across business and clinical teams, communicating clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.

Frontera Health uses a hybrid model of technology and care to expand autism services for kids in rural and underserved areas, operating both an AI-powered software platform for BCBAs and its own ABA clinics in rural New Mexico. The platform uses AI and machine learning, including Digital Phenotyping that analyzes therapy-session video at 30 frames per second to produce objective data, along with Diagnosis Builder and Assessment Builder to speed up diagnostic reports and treatment plans. Unlike others, Frontera combines clinician-support software with real-world clinics to validate the tools in day-to-day practice, emphasizing rural health equity and faster access rather than replacing clinicians. The goal is to reduce waitlists and speed up early intervention by giving clinicians data-driven, workflow-ready tools.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • February 2026 Catalight rollout broadened Frontera beyond its New Mexico clinic base.
  • Five New Mexico clinics and 230 active families give real-world training data.
  • August 2026 recruiting for RBTs signals expansion into existing markets despite talent scarcity.

What critics are saying

  • AI autism diagnosis faces scrutiny if FronteraCare outcomes fail to beat incumbents.
  • Tracxn lists 112 competitors, including SpectrumAi and Onos Health, pressuring differentiation quickly.
  • Owning clinics exposes Frontera to reimbursement cuts; Nebraska reductions already closed providers.

What makes Frontera Health unique

  • Frontera pairs AI software with owned FronteraCare clinics across New Mexico.
  • January 2026 Catalight partnership validates its workflow automation inside a major provider network.
  • Usage-based token pricing ties revenue to completed assessments, not seat licenses.
