Requirements
  • 4+ years experience developing web-based applications at the enterprise level.
  • You can write clean code that is performant, secure, and designed for scale.
  • You can spot opportunities to improve code quality and reduce technical debt as you develop features.
  • You are a team player happy to join in on discussions in other disciplines like design, product, and quality and can pitch in when the team need a hand elsewhere.
  • You are accomplished at delivering well-defined complex tasks with a high level of independence.
  • You take initiative and can help to lead design, breakdown, planning and delivery of large features which may span across multiple sprints.
  • You have a track record of developing robust Java, python, SQL Applications, as part of full-stack web applications.
  • Demonstrated involvement in interacting with databases and data storage best practices.
  • You are familiar with RESTful as an API design/have experience integrating with middle tier Java applications.
  • Experience using Git, or similar version-control systems, issue tracking, and committing code.
Responsibilities
  • Work with agile development teams to continuously deliver solutions that drive meaningful improvements to customers culture in a strategic priority area for the company.
  • Partner with the business team and be part of the technical design discussions and decisions as well as implementing the designs.
  • Contribute to sprint planning and backlog refinement sessions, daily stand-ups and retrospectives with the product development team.
  • Work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Be encouraged to learn and introduce new technologies, processes, and innovations to the team and company.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS and Cloud-first applications is a plus.
