  • Doctorate
  • MD-Doctor of Medicine M.D. or D.O. Degree with Post Graduate training in Occupational Medicine
  • DO- Doctor of Osteopathy M.D. or D.O. Degree with Post Graduate training in Occupational Medicine
  • MRO Certification Physician MRO-Medical Review Officer (within 6 months of hire)
  • 3 years Occupational Health experience
  • 8 years recent relevant experience
Responsibilities
  • Delivery of occupational medicine services
  • Provision of new hire candidate post offer/pre-employment medical assessments
  • Oversight of clinical services provided by clinic NP/PAs
  • Medical leadership for provision of services to Sutter Employees
  • Assuring compliance of clinical services with all laws and regulations

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing; negotiation skills; must be familiar with word processing and spreadsheet software; ability to analyze and interpret data and prepare concise accurate reports; flexibility in varying situations; ability to work independently and effectively under pressure; ability to organize and prioritize duties; ability to work well with other senior administrative and medical staff; willingness to travel as required; project management skills.
