The SafetyIntern will provide support to the Safetydepartment by working on a variety of safetyrelated projects while gaining exposure to a variety of functional areas and business segments within the organization.
Conduct written program/procedure reviews and develop training curriculums based on these programs.
Assist with accident investigations and follow-up with required corrective action.
Develop and/or update safetyand health training programs for various business units.
Provide daily support to the safetydepartment on a variety of safetyprojects.
Assist and conduct internal compliance and injury reduction assessments to include follow through.
Conduct ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations on potential improvements.
Quantify and present safety& health statistics to the management team.
Support and manage the SafetyManagement System (SMS)
All other duties and projects as assigned.
Student working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Safetyand Occupational Health or related field.
Willing to travel or relocate to Kewaunee, WI for the Summer of 2025 (relocation assistance provided for those with a permanent address of greater than 50 miles from Kewaunee, WI).
Ability to learn new programs quickly while working in a fast-paced work environment.
Outstanding communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential.
Familiar with manufacturing and safetyprinciples is a plus.
Ability to work independently when necessary.

Pay Range:
$18.00 - $37.00
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate’s experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
