The FP&A Analyst plays an important business unit support function while gaining company and industry knowledge and financial planning & analysis skills. Overall responsibilities include assistance in annual budget creation, ongoing forecasting, financial reporting, commission scheme calculations and various ad-hoc analysis. There is also the opportunity to be involved in any Corporate Development activities as they arise.
By understanding the key drivers of the business and working with leaders across the company, including in the sales organization, the role will increase the growth rate and profitability of Artsy.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in / own the overall forecasting of the business (budget and ongoing forecasting)
- Calculate commission scheme payouts and targets
- Own and maintain the headcount forecast across all departments
- Maintain and improve reporting files for Sales and other teams
- Prepare internal financial communications
- Input and analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, and tools
- Create monthly and ad-hoc reporting to support operational and financial needs
- Support any external activity including Mergers & Acquisition and Investor Reporting as required
- Provide other assistance, support, and guidance to FP&A and the business, as necessary

- Have 1+ years of relevant experience either in an FP&A role, investment banking or consulting
- Keen to gain experience in FP&A and excited about the opportunity to grow within Artsy
- Bachelor’s Degree / professional qualification in accounting, business or finance
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively with other team members, in both written & verbal form
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment with attention to detail
- Desire to learn and continuously improve
- Aptitude for problem solving skills
- Ability to extract and utilize data from various software applications, such as spreadsheets, databases, for reporting and/or analytical purposes
- Experience with Looker, Salesforce and Netsuite is a plus

The base salary range for this role is $65,000-$80,000 annually. Artsy is committed to equitable compensation practices, and your offer will depend on the relevant experience and skillset you bring to the team.
