IT Requirements Analyst, Mid

The role of an IT Requirements analyst is crucial in any software development project, as they define what the system should do, how it should do it, and why technical changes are needed. An IT Requirements analyst is the person who elicits, analyzes, validates, and manages the requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
In This Role You Will:
Work with client IT applications and systems to capture and define system requirements and associated business processes.
Work with stakeholders to elicit and define requirements and translate them into system requirements for developers to implement.
Translate and document business needs, processes, and procedures into detailed user stories, process charts and workflows, and standard operating procedures.
Coordinate with developers and testers to ensure understanding of requirements.
Support implementation of tools and features that meet needs and requirements of the client systems.

You Have:
Experience in working collaboratively with team members, clients, and stakeholders
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of technical requirements and business process best practices
Knowledge of the software development life cycle
Ability to think critically, use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Ability to break down complex problems, identify dependencies and constraints, resolve conflicts and prioritize needs
Ability to learn new technologies and concepts
Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment, adjust quickly to changing priorities, and make progress in areas where high ambiguity and uncertainty exists
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with supporting the Intelligence Community (IC) and writing technical requirements as features or user stories
Experience with Microsoft Visio and Agile tools, including Jira
Experience with business process improvement
Experience in working and collaborating with technical staff and engineers
Experience with systems engineering or software development
Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle Process and Agile development
Ability to pay strict attention to detail, and display a proactive and positive attitude
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent documentation and organizational skills
Master’s degree
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
