  • The Area Manager will partner with HQ and their DM to design and implement end-to-end physical and digital customer journeys intended to increase customer satisfaction and delight, improve retention/repeat visits, increase referrals and reviews, deepen brand penetration into local communities, and help people move and live better
  • Help achieve store-by-store customer retention goals and monitor/understand all customer-related reporting
  • The Area Managers and DM's will ensure smooth new product launches through collaboration with HQ. Area Managers and DM will be responsible for all training implementation, merchandising execution and maintenance in their assigned stores
  • The Area Manager will be responsible for continuously shaping solutions and teams that best fit our customer experience
  • Oversee, collaborate with, and support local teams in deepening their connection within the community and creating an experience that customers want to return to again and again
  • Cultivate a unique, fun, and seamless Customer Experience throughout their region
  • Ensure all customer feedback issues are resolved and the relationship is preserved, if possible
  • Communicate all CS feedback and issues into HQs CX infrastructure for tracking purposes
  • Lead regular meeting with district's store managers. Agenda should include, but is not limited to: KPIs, Marketing, Community Building, Sales Trends, Inventory Management
  • Meet regularly with the Vice President of Retail to ensure consistent leadership across all locations
  • Hold managers accountable to all KPIs, Marketing Goals, budgets and other measurable outcomes
  • Serve as a bridge between Therabody headquarters and the store team to ensure a deep sense of connection to the company and brand, as well as to foster a seamless flow of communication
  • Assist in policy creation, development and roll out
  • Ability to help hire, train, nurture, and lead a world-class retail and service team
  • Provide disciplinary support and mentorship to managers. Assist in the implementation of Performance Improvement Plans, ensure proper documentation, and guide managers through crucial conversations
  • Seek opportunities to educate, inspire, empower, and mobilize your team for their professional growth and to serve the consumer to the highest standard
  • Have a passion for driving excellence in all business areas throughyour team (financially, customer experience, service delivery, safety, cleanliness, etc.)
  • Communicate with headquarters to ensure inventory meets the needs of the business
  • Ensure accurate and efficient receipt, transfer and inventory of all goods between our store and warehouse through trackable inventory logs
  • Liaise with HQ to insure proper inventory procedures are in practice as related to loss prevention and management
  • Manage consumables inventory to ensure no impact on service delivery/customer experience
  • Manage returns process and ensure accurate replenishment
  • Familiarity with the latest innovations in high-tech recovery
  • Experience leading a multidisciplinary team (retail, trainers, clinicians, etc.)
  • The ability to lead a team to achieve financial, operational and customer service goals
  • A current certification from ACSM, NASM, ACE, or applicable university degree (i.e. Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, etc.) is preferred but not required
  • Experience in a service, membership based business model is preferred but not required
  • A proven ability to drive sales from start-up, execute events, and work in concert with marketing
  • A talent for managing and developing a cohesive team
  • The ability to lift boxes up to 50lbs
  • The ability and willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed
Responsibilities
  • Achieve district store sales goals and other financial targets
  • Analyze store performance, identify problems and craft solutions. This includes monitoring and understanding sales reports
  • Multi-store P&L responsibility, identify/execute opportunities to reduce costs and generate revenue. Monitor multi-store expense budget and intervene when budget is at risk. Contribute to weekly Executive Summary
  • Collaborate with HQ on demand planning exercises
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Therabody, play an active role in the community and seek outreach/networking opportunities
