About the Team:
The goal of the Growth Team at Quizlet is simple: To get more students studying on Quizlet in more places around the world. As such, our new Growth Team will focus heavily on global study engagement and International expansion. It will do so across Acquisition and Lifecycle Marketing, Product Growth, SEO, Design, and Engineering, creating a dedicated and consolidated team to drive growth for Quizlet. By demonstrating the power of what Quizlet offers to students, this team will ensure product readiness and fit in International markets, and drive instant study behavior and engagement.
About the Role:
The Head of Growth at Quizlet will be instrumental to Quizlet’s International expansion and success by driving deeper engagement in the markets we already serve, as well as being the primary driver for understanding and expanding Quizlet’s offering in those we don’t. The role will be highly influential across nearly all of Quizlet’s teams and thus need to be an excellent strategist and cross-functional operator.
In this role, you will:
- Build a world-class growth organization across lifecycle, acquisition, product growth, SEO, design, analytics and engineering
- Set aggressive targets to drive International MAU and Sign-ups, as well as global goals for growth-driven engagement
- Develop a deep understanding of how and where students use Quizlet today and identify the largest opportunities for growth
- Have a deep understanding of tools that support user understanding, and use those tools/data to make effective decisions, strategies and plans to drive growth
- Effectively manage long and short-term goals to drive huge impact for Quizlet and the students we serve
- Work closely with Executive, Product, Marketing and International leadership to gain consensus on a finite and prioritized list of initiatives
- Have a deep knowledge of acquisition and lifecycle marketing
- Gain a deep understanding of how to lessen friction within our products through product optimizations, as well as SEO
- Explore partnerships with other GenZ and technology brands that allow us to scale cost-effectively
What you bring to the table:
- 15 years managing Growth for a fast-growing company through Marketing, Product, or both
- Have demonstrated success in a similar role and can discuss specific, quantitative results or impact
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across a range of functions, including product, marketing and engineering
- A deep understanding of Growth and Lifecycle Marketing, including student LTV analysis, acceptable CAC, targeting, etc.
- Deep understanding of product and funnel optimization, reducing friction and increasing throughput to the events and actions that matter most to our students
- Highly strategic and goal driven, and can work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills
- World-class manager and leader
Bonus points if you have:
- Deep experience in Education Technology, Freemium/Subscription-based businesses
- MBA

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a starting base salary of $225,000 - $265,000, depending on location and experience, as well as company stock options
