Requirements
  • 8-12 years of experience is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Absence implementation.
  • Experience with Workday HCM, specifically Time Tracking and Absence modules.
  • Strong understanding of timekeeping and absence management policies.
  • Knowledge of relevant labor laws and compliance requirements.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in training and supporting end-users.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
Responsibilities
  • Configure and maintain Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management modules according to business needs.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and data accuracy.
  • Design and support the deployment of time and absence policies, including working hours, overtime, holiday accruals, and various leave types.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to time entry, approvals, absence requests, and reporting.
  • Train end-users and provide documentation on time and absence processes within Workday.
  • Monitor compliance with labor laws and company policies regarding attendance and leave.
  • Generate reports and analytics on time and absence data for management review.
  • Participate in Workday upgrades and testing related to time and absence functionality.
Desired Qualifications
  • A background in Workday Functional certification is highly desirable, along with a deep understanding of Workday's Absence module.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Workday, including comprehensive knowledge of its Human Capital Management.
  • Good to have Skills: A Workday Time and Absence specialist or consultant manages and supports the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of the Time Tracking and Absence Management modules within the Workday Human Capital Management system. This role focuses on ensuring accurate time reporting, leave tracking, compliance with company policies, and legal requirements.
