Responsibilities
  • Post trial balances onto accounting software.
  • Analyse bank statements into cash books in Excel and post them onto accounting software.
  • Complete accounts-file working papers in Excel.
  • Apply accounting principles.
  • Identify client queries.
  • Post accounting journals and disclosure data into accounting software.
  • Prepare corporation tax computations.
  • Prepare accounts files for accounts meetings.
  • Complete files for signing packs.
  • Perform bookkeeping in accounting software.
  • Prepare payroll reports.
  • Perform ad hoc administrative duties as needed by the office.
  • Prepare and submit VAT, Construction Industry Scheme, Corporation Tax, and Self-Assessment returns to HM Revenue and Customs.
Desired Qualifications
  • GCSE or equivalent English at grade A*–C (9/4).
  • GCSE or equivalent Mathematics at grade A*–C (9/4).
  • AAT Level 2.
