Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Python, Spark, or Pyspark is required
  • High familiarity with data platforms and applications such as Databricks, Jupyter, Snowflake, Redshift, Airflow
  • Applied experience of frameworks like PyTorch, Keras, Tensorflow, etc
  • Experience operating in an SDLC environment and deploying production engineering models and code
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills, able to concisely synthesize complex technical information
  • Strong analytical and technical skills to troubleshoot issues, perform rapid iteration and quickly come-up with the possible solutions, effectively communicating these to technical and executive audiences across the organization
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and using tools such as Jira to track and perform ceremonies
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field.
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to design, develop, and maintain production level models to monitor critical datasets and engineering services in streaming and batch; informing end user customer experience and insights into the health of our applications, products and offerings
  • Work to adopt and experiment new model frameworks, machine learning approaches and artificial intelligence best practices from research through production rollout including continuous optimization and orchestration
  • Create and deploy scalable API endpoints to provide predictive scores and explainability feedback to other applications, engineering processes and team
  • Serve as a technical leader on the team, providing mentorship and technical best practices to more junior members.
  • Understand engineering infrastructure and business processes that power critical systems, applications and streaming infrastructure
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams and verticals, to identify opportunities, business requirements and a path to technical implementation
  • Discover opportunities for innovation and improvements across the entire engineering space
