Job Summary:
The Investor Relations Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the firm’s investor relations efforts across the growing Summit platform. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support fundraising efforts, as well as ongoing client servicing. The successful candidate will communicate accurate and timely responses to clients, prospects, and third-party service providers, coordinate investor reporting deliverables, and interface directly with prospects as part of the new account onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Creation of Marketing Collateral: Collaborate with the rest of the IR/Marketing team to create compelling product presentations, pitch books, client reports, RFPs, DDQs, and other client-facing materials.
- Product Specialization: Become a subject matter expert on Crestline Summit’s multi-strategy platform, articulating the investment philosophy, process, risk management, and performance through writing to external and internal stakeholders.
- Client Reporting: Assist in preparing and distributing client deliverables and other communications. Responsible for regular and ongoing client email distribution via CRM (e.g., weekly and monthly performance, quarterly letters, etc.)
- New Account Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new clients, including collecting required documentation, reviewing / coordinating follow-ups, and sending welcome communications to facilitate a smooth transition. Open and review new accounts in the CRM system.
- System/CRM Management: Working with Crestline’s fund administrators, maintain accurate and up-to-date systems, ensuring all investor information, contacts, and communications are properly documented.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to client interactions, documentation, and reporting. Assist with gathering investor information for periodic regulatory filings.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve client service processes, systems, and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in client service, relationship management, or a related role, preferably within financial services or hedge funds.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data / reports and proactively identify insights to support client needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with CRM systems preferred.
