Business Disability Forum unveils Disability Smart Impact Awards 2026 finalists. Business Disability Forum, a business membership organisation in disability inclusion, has unveiled the finalists for its prestigious Disability Smart Impact Awards 2026. Now in its 12th year, the annual awards spotlight and celebrate the organisations and practitioners who are removing barriers and driving meaningful, measurable improvements for disabled employees and consumers. The awards highlight projects that demonstrate a real difference to disabled employees and consumers and aim to encourage all businesses to elevate their approach to disability inclusion. From transformative workplace adjustments to customer-focused accessibility innovations, the awards celebrate initiatives that deliver impactful change. Projects in this year's list of finalists include developing a global network for people who stammer to a small, family-owned shop that has made neurodivergent and disabled people feel safe and welcome in a retail environment. There are also global corporations pioneering ways to design products and services with, instead of for, disabled people and campaigns harnessing the power of storytelling across five continents to disrupt harmful and stereotypical assumptions around disability. Winners in the 14 categories of the Disability Smart Impact Awards 2026 will be announced at the Disability Smart Impact Awards Ceremony 2026, hosted by HSBC, on 29 April 2026. There is an additional Lifetime Achievement Award. This year's Disability Smart Impact Awards finalists, by category, includes the Diversity and Inclusion Professional, with finalists including Evtec Automative, Freeths LLP, and Lloyds Banking Group. The Leader Award, with finalists 50 Million Voices, Morgans Butchery, and Unilever. The Technology Award for small organisations of fewer than 250 employees includes finalists Diverse Made Media, Mobility Mojo, and SensePilot. The Technology Award for large organisations with over 250 employees includes finalists ServiceNow, Financial Conduct Authority, and Tesco. The Workplace Experience Award for small organisations of fewer than 250 employees includes finalists Happy Smiles Training CIC, Evtec Automotive, and Tilting the Lens. The Workplace Experience Award for large organisations with over 250 employees includes finalists Sutherland Global, BCLP, and Garanti BBVA. The Recruitment Award includes finalists BBC, Curiously Divergent, and KPMG LLP. The Inclusive Communication Award includes finalists Stichting Uit met Autisme, Sony Europe, and Worley. The Customer Experience Award for small organisations of fewer than 250 employees includes finalists Accessible Housing Scotland, Thrive Together Support, and Festival.org - Greenwich + Docklands International Festival. Sutherland has launched FinAI Hub, an enterprise Agentic AI platform designed specifically for banking and financial services. The platform provides a domain-trained AI agent workforce to help financial institutions scale AI initiatives beyond pilot programmes across legacy systems and core operations. FinAI Hub offers modular AI agents supporting functions including retail banking, payments, lending, servicing, risk and compliance. Agents can operate independently or be orchestrated across workflows such as onboarding, KYC, AML, fraud detection, underwriting and collections. Examples include a KYC Agent for identity verification, an AML Screening Agent for sanction monitoring, and a Loan Underwriter Agent for application decisions. The platform features secure deployment models that keep sensitive data within institutional environments whilst enabling autonomous execution and maintaining regulatory control. Sutherland positions the platform as enabling financial institutions to embed intelligent automation across enterprises at production scale.
