  • Lead a large team of engineers for the Starlink PCBA manufacturing team. Responsible products and processes will include SMT, post-processing manufacturing processes, and testing
  • Lead team through a dynamic new product development environment, supporting development timelines and ensuring that product is effectively introduced to production
  • Drive continuous improvement of design for excellence (DfX) practices and strengthen the new product introduction process
  • Work closely with the design, tooling, controls and production teams to plan and deliver creative, world class and highly efficient production processes capable of delivering high quality and reliability and high rate
  • Incorporate business, manufacturing and production metrics to measure and then optimize productivity in all areas
  • Act as a forcing function for excellence and aggressively focus on cost reduction in every element of design, production and supply chain processes
  • Drive new process development and process qualification to produce quality products and facilitate new product introduction in a high paced, aggressive environment
  • Work closely with development and design engineers, internal production resources and external vendors to make parts that are designed for manufacturability, reliability, source-ability, etc. to improve the product
  • Develop strategies and drive measurable yield improvement, work floor efficiency improvement, risk reduction and process control improvement
  • Act as technical decision maker and advisor to team
  • Positively impact and improve every aspect of life at SpaceX through motivational leadership to drive the business forwards
