Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A Food ServSafe certification and alcohol certification are required.
  • Restaurant knowledge, including inventory control and operations, is required.
  • The ability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends is required.
  • The ability to understand financial reports, analysis, and forecasts is required.
  • The employee must be able to stand, walk, lift, twist, bend, and traverse stairs frequently.
  • The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds and may occasionally lift 25 to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • The employee must be able to work in a theater environment with moderate to high noise levels.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise the service model, auditorium ticket sales, and guest experience.
  • Ensure facilities are clean, safe, and in proper working order by adhering to company cleaning policy.
  • Perform daily opening, mid, and closing operational duties.
  • Interview, hire, onboard, and train hourly staff members.
  • Provide team-member development and cross-training to support operational efficiency and career growth.
  • Provide daily communication about individual performance and training opportunities.
  • Control scheduling and ensure proper staffing levels, balanced shifts, and shift preparedness.
  • Serve as a safety and security ambassador for managers and team members.
  • Oversee theater maintenance, including visual and audio quality, guest comfort, and recliner-seat functionality.
  • Assign work tasks and activities, prepare weekly schedules through HotSchedules, and ensure all shifts are covered.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift Take One meetings and communicate team sales goals, promotions, and in-store contests.
  • Assist the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with tasks, reports, scheduling, and analytics.
  • Assist with the preparation and follow-through of private events.
  • Manage guest issues proactively and resolve problems while maintaining a positive guest experience.
  • Communicate with the Assistant General Manager, General Manager, and Human Resources regarding employee issues and complaints.
  • Assist with film ingestion, maintenance, transfers, playlist building in the LMS, and system issue resolution.
  • Assist with in-seat dining and auditorium sales management, including running food and beverage operations, handling expo roles, and managing and creating teams for in-seat dining.
  • Review profit and loss related to cost of goods sold, labor, and operational expenses.
  • Maximize sales by auditing transactions and setting daily and weekly goals through KPI boards and Take One meetings.
  • Review server reports to assess tip percentages, missing sales, and ordering accuracy.
  • Attend and participate in meetings and training.
  • Work a full-time schedule of at least five days per week and up to 50 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
  • One or more years of restaurant management experience is preferred.
  • Two or more years of supervisory experience is preferred.
