- Hold an AEC, DEC, university certificate, or first-cycle degree in computer science or an equivalent discipline.
- Provide a comparative evaluation from MIFI for a diploma earned outside Canada and attach a copy of the diploma to the submission.
- Demonstrate excellent spoken and written French.
- Have experience with FME Flow or FME Form, Python, and ArcPy for ETL and automation scripting.
- Have experience developing web-based cartographic applications.
- Have experience with geospatial web services in a web environment, including WMS, WFS, GeoJSON, and REST.
- Have experience with web cartographic dissemination solutions, including GeoCortex.
- Have experience using Azure DevOps for Scrum or Kanban boards and task management and tracking.
- Perform programming work to evolve and optimize geomatics application functionality.
- Migrate components of geomatics web applications across frontend and backend systems.
- Migrate, adapt, and test applications that consume geomatics web services, including REST, WMS, and WFS.
- Design and implement automation and geospatial data-processing processes using Python, FME, and ModelBuilder.
- Participate in the integration, optimization, and evolution of spatial databases with the relevant teams.
- Maintain fully functional code and keep it up to date.
- Produce automated test results, code documentation, scripts, web services, metadata, catalogs, product records, anomaly registers, and tracking documents.
