As Sr. Software Developer, you’ll be responsible for using your knowledge of programming languages to design software programs. Your duties include meeting with clients to determine their software needs, coding and testing software to ensure functionality and updating and refining software programs as requested by stakeholders and as required.

What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Development duties will include but are not limited to the Natural and ADABAS development on RedHat Linux systems.
- Lead the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and ongoing support.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our development processes.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT related discipline or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years’ experience programming in Natural/ADABAS and working on RedHat Linux servers.
- Experience in working with EntireX for direct user and client-computer interactions with web-hosted applications.
- Expertise using CONNX for data access and analysis, building ad-hoc queries, data import and export, and managing data interfaces between different systems.
- Experience in building system architecture, crafting technical documents, and creating illustrative diagrams and charts for applications.
- Strong data analytics skills, specifically in terms of debugging and troubleshooting, program specifications and technical documentation.
- Ability to maintain servers, applications, and database, and conduct disaster recovery planning to promote business continuity and data integrity.
- Ability to provide recommendations through effective proficient communication regarding enhancements to the systems and processes.
