Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in a vehicle.
  • Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
  • Sound alarms or call the police or fire department in case of fire or the presence of unauthorized persons.
  • Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
  • Permit authorized persons to enter the property and monitor entrances and exits.
  • Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements.
  • Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities, and maintain written logs as required by the post.
  • Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site post orders.
Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages, such as Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Arabic.
  • Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience.

One of the nation's largest employers joins a growing roster of companies adopting Chime Workplace over legacy point solutions. Chime(R) announced Allied Universal, a global leader in security and facility services, as its newest employer partner. The partnership will expand access to Chime's fee-free[1] financial wellness tools for hundreds of thousands of frontline employees. The momentum extends beyond new employer partnerships: First Student, the nation's largest student transportation provider that deployed Chime Workplace(TM) earlier this year, is already seeing positive financial health results among its employees. Allied Universal completes acquisition of SSC Security Services Corp. Jul 31, 2026, 18:00 ET REGINA, SK and IRVINE, Calif., July 31, 2026 /CNW/ - SSC Security Services Corp. (TSXV: SECU) (US: SECUF) (amalgamated into Logixx Security Inc.) ("SSC" or the "Company") and Allied Universal (as defined below) are pleased to announce the successful completion of the previously announced acquisition by Allied Universal of the Company by way of a plan of arrangement (the "Arrangement") involving Universal Protection Service, LP ("Allied Universal"), and its wholly-owned subsidiary, 102236724 Saskatchewan Ltd. (the "Purchaser") under The Business Corporations Act, 2021 (Saskatchewan). The Arrangement took effect at 12:01 a.m. (Regina time) on July 31, 2026. Pursuant to the terms of the Arrangement, Allied Universal acquired all of the issued and outstanding common shares of the Company (the "Shares") for $4.4075 per Share in cash (the "Consideration"), and certain officers and directors of the Company purchased the Company's legacy assets and cyber security business in a management buy-out transaction. As part of the Arrangement, the Company amalgamated with its wholly-owned subsidiary, Logixx Security Inc., and the Purchaser to form "Logixx Security Inc." Registered shareholders are reminded that, to receive the Consideration in exchange for their Shares, they are required to deposit to TSX Trust Company, the depositary for the Arrangement, their share certificate(s) or DRS statement(s) with a duly completed letter of transmittal (as provided in the Notice of Meeting and Information Circular for the special meeting of SSC shareholders held on July 22, 2026). SSC Security shareholders approve $4.41/share Allied Universal acquisition and management buyout

SSC Security Services Corp's shareholders have approved a previously announced plan of arrangement. Universal Protection Service LP, through its subsidiary 102236724 Saskatchewan Ltd (together, Allied Universal), will acquire all outstanding shares for $4.4075 per share in cash. Simultaneously, certain company officers and directors will purchase SSC's legacy assets and cybersecurity business in a management buyout. At the special meeting, shareholders approved the arrangement by 99.99% of votes cast, whilst minority shareholders approved it by 99.97%. The transaction requires final court approval and TSX Venture Exchange approval. A court hearing is scheduled for 27 July 2026, with the transaction expected to close on 31 July 2026. SSC is Canada's largest publicly traded security company.
