Requirements

  • Journey-level experience and union membership are required.
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools and woodworking machinery is required.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Responsibilities
  • Work with blueprints to prepare the project layout.
  • Utilize chisels, planes, saws, drills, and sanders to erect and repair structures.
  • Join materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesives.
  • Work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding.
  • Use levels, measuring tape, plumb bobs, framing squares, and lasers to ensure items are level and secure.
  • Install cabinets, wall paneling, fixtures, and other products.
  • Bend, stand, walk, use hands, and handle or feel objects, tools, or controls as required by the job.
  • Reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch as occasionally required.
  • Push, pull, or lift from below the waist or from an overhead position and carry 50 pounds or more.
  • Use close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision and adjust focus.
