  • Associates Degree in accounting, finance, business or any other applicable degree, or an equivalent combination of experience
  • 1+ year experience working in a cash application position or similar role
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Exceptional customer service and strong interpersonal skills, including working with all levels of staff and customers
  • Intermediate level of Excel skills
  • Keen attention to detail in planning, organization,and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and how it all comes together
  • Highly motivated, focused and goal oriented
  • Passionate participation in Brooks' sports activities a plus, overridden by the ability to understand and empathize with the runner to develop loyal, engaging relationships with our customers and the Brooks community

  • Post lockbox batches and provide customer payment support documents as needed to the Credit Analysts while assisting in maintaining cash tracking spreadsheets
  • PostACH/EDI, and retrieve customer details to ensure the timely posting of receipts. Prepare files for electronic upload into M3 accounting software
  • Posting of credit card payments from Billtrust, Brooks' third-party payment processor and document repository
  • Assist the Credit Analysts in the processing of inbound wires from international subsidiaries and distributors
  • Assist the Credit Analysts in reconciling discrepancies, unmatched cash/credits on a customer's account
  • Assist in the researching of US and Canadian chargebacks and their resolution
  • Post matchups of cash or credits to the appropriate invoices or chargebacks as prepared by the Credit Analysts
  • Work closely with the Credit Analysts to understand the work at hand, or any issues that need to be resolved. Collaborate effectively and maintain strong communication
  • Support other Cash Application Specialists, and members of the Credit Team as needed
