Requirements
  • Associate degree preferred
  • 5+ years in regulatory management or similar profession
  • 2+ years of experience in LNG or similar industry
  • Must maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card
  • Extensive experience managing regulatory dialogue in the US
  • Experience in PHMSA, FERC, and USCG rules and regulations
  • Excellent research, written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient data analytics capabilities
  • Strong logistics, time management, planning and scheduling skills
  • An acute sensitivity to safety issues in a hazardous environment
  • Effective communicator at all levels of an organization
  • Computer savvy including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to interface and effectively communicate with different groups
  • Ability to multi-task and function in a highly dynamic atmosphere
Responsibilities
  • Development, implementation, and maintaining the CP2LNG Regulatory Compliance Program
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in Regulatory areas concerning LNG Operations
  • Leads the regulatory compliance assurance program necessary for audits
  • Performs internal compliance assurance activities
  • Support and participate in Regulatory Agency site audits and inspections
  • Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability or risks
  • Conduct inspections and audits of Operations and Maintenance activities
  • Lead in evaluation of Federal Register updates
  • Support the development and implementation of internal regulatory inspection and audit program
  • Maintains working knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Assists with communicating and implementing improvements to programs
  • Lead in development and implementation of Regulatory Training program
  • Support engineering design reviews of Implementation Plans
  • Lead in safety related incident management issues
  • Lead review of MOC’s for compliance validation
  • Lead in executing external regulatory reporting obligations
  • Lead Operations procedure reviews and ensuring updates are maintained
  • Analyze Compliance data mining to determine necessary training or program modifications
  • Support the Company’s functional groups in planning and control management
  • Cooperate with stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations
