3 - 5 years QA experience required
Significant experience in mobile application and hardware-related testing e.g. IoT., bluetooth or wireless devices)
Strong knowledge of Agile software development: highly fluent in organizing well-run sprints and incremental releases
Proven experience collaborating with non-technical teams such as Customer Support or medical/clinical teams
Work experience with onshore and offshore development teams is a big plus
Finds the bugs truly causing problems for our users, without spending effort on insignificant issues (we're a startup building rapidly)
Curious about what drives our users - operates with a high empathy for Recora's member patients
Proactively learns where mistakes come from - adept at root cause analysis and collaborating with Engineers to implement lasting improvements to software systems
Highly analytical thinker and problem solver
Leads quality improvement efforts throughout the whole development cycle. (We love it when bugs aren't written because we've snuffed them out in design reviews!)
Builds appreciation for quality and consistently through interactions with all teams at Recora

Responsibilities

Coordinates Test and Release Plans on behalf of Recora's Product Management team
Leads quality control processes from initial product roadmapping to feature launches to post-release monitoring
Ensures a high velocity release cadence, and that release events are signed off by company stakeholders in a timely manner
Helps build and deploy test automation frameworks
Determine priorities for test scenarios and test execution
Tracks an expansive set of bugs, crashes, performance problems, and domain knowledge in Jira and Notion

What we’re looking for

Recora is hiring a Quality Assurance Lead to drive quality and efficiency through our technical operations. In this role, you’ll collaborate with Recora’s product and engineering teams to continuously improve the quality of our product, which is an innovative heart health recovery platform. You will orchestrate successful releases of our core platform and supporting features, and will write and execute test and release plans in advance of important releases, launches, and similar time-sensitive events.

The right hire will find significant growth opportunities in this role, becoming a defining voice for our QA systems and processes. Your work will directly impact the product experience and even the health and well-being of our members. We’re looking for a versatile team player to take ownership of our emerging QA needs, build a solid platform for stable and high-impact releases, and help us move and capture a competitive market as quickly as we can.

Qualifications
