Job Description

We are seeking an innovative candidate experienced in managing priority suppliers and subcontracts.

What You’ll Do:

Effectively manage supply of critical components for both production and supply chain (including managing purchase requisitions, delivery schedules, and RMAs)
Negotiate terms with priority suppliers including cost and schedule, while maintaining high quality
Manage supplier’s performance through cross-functional supplier management teams to ensure high quality, timely, and cost-effective operations
Proactively resolve problems and discrepancies with pricing, delivery timelines, and quality
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., production, prototype, engineering)

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree
5-7 years of relevant supply chain or subcontract management experience
Experience in relevant manufacturing industries (e.g., Aerospace and Defense, Automotive, Space, Electronics)
Ownership mindset and ability to effectively plan and execute complex supplier management
Analytical and problem-solving experience with high attention to detail
Excellent Computer skills - Excel, Word and PowerPoint and experience with ERP systems (Deltek CostPoint preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and execute complex supplier negotiations (cost, schedule, terms) times in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of U.S. DoD compliance requirements (FAR/DFAR)
Experience leading a cross-functional Supplier Management Team (SMT)

Total package details:

Regular employee positions: Salary within range listed above + Bonus + Benefits + Equity

Temporary employee positions: Hourly within range listed above + temporary benefits package (applicable after 60 days of employment)

*Interns/Military Fellows/Part-time not eligible for bonus, benefits or equity
