Requirements
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of on-the-job experience with personnel action coding and processing, documenting processes and procedures; experience in a fast paced customer service environment.
  • Bachelor's degree is required with at least three years of work experience in personnel action coding and processing, documenting processes and procedures; experience in a fast paced customer service environment.
  • Must have the ability to use a computer to communicate via email and be proficient in Microsoft Office Productivity Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related tools and technology.
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills; excellent presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally to support standard services across the Department.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required; security clearance eligibility is required; All staff must be determined eligible for a Facility Access Authorization by the U.S. Government Security Office.
  • Location is Boulder, Colorado; Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; advanced Excel, Access, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools preferred.
  • Strong understanding of federal government business operations and work processes; ability to support project teams and program managers; provide daily execution of assigned work functions.
  • Provide acquisition support across bureaus in functional areas including information technology, financial management, human resources, program management, economic analysis, executive support and administrative support.
Responsibilities
  • Performs personnel action reports (PAR) and processing for a variety of purposes in the overall management of Departmental employees, including talent acquisition support, onboarding support, presentations, training and related activities.
  • Support project teams and program managers; provide daily execution of assigned work functions.
  • Provide management support to collect, evaluate and test financial data for recurring departmental processes and reviews; summarize issues and findings clearly.
  • Conduct periodic reconciliation reviews of external interfaces with various field offices to identify and correct data gaps, financial discrepancies and errors.
  • Work with a variety of information technology systems to provide Enterprise Services Staff Support Services for the Department.
  • Provide acquisition support for all bureaus with functional areas including information technology, financial management, human resources, program management, economic analysis, executive support and administrative support.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills; communicate effectively orally and in writing to support standard services across the Department.
