  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 12-15 years’ experience in Plastic processing of Injection molding, Vacuum forming & Sheet Extruder M/c’s
  • Strong customer-oriented mind set

  • Problem Solving & Analytical ability
  • Frequent user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Excellent in Spoken & Written English, Marathi, Hindi
Responsibilities
  • Ensure smooth functioning of Production Department and meet production targets; drive day-to-day production planning and execution.
  • Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness and machine efficiency; reduce machine downtime using quality tools; implement autonomous maintenance to extend machine life.
  • Eliminate rejection and scrap; set procedures and finalize Standard Operating Procedures; reduce rejection during changeovers and in-process to meet yearly targets.
  • Manage a team of production officers; resolve issues in production process; provide training to team.
  • Ensure adherence to defined quality standards; optimize resource usage and workflows; continuously improve production processes and problem solving.
  • Conduct and guide team for SMED, CLIT and machine-like campaigns within the department.
  • Achieve shell volume targets and reduce non-quality costs; ensure on-time delivery schedules.
  • Promote a motivating atmosphere and develop the team to use their skills effectively in a disciplined manner.
  • Implement continual improvements on cost control, better OEE, quality control and rejection control through Kaizens, improvement projects, process engineering, machine layout planning, and plant-level automation.
  • Ensure department safety: train personnel on Dos and Don'ts of machines; educate shift in-charges, technicians and operators; provide safety resources and safe working environment; safety of people and machines.
