- Advanced scientific degree required (i.e. Pharm D, MD/DO, PhD, PA or NP) in a relevant health science or clinical discipline

- Act as the local medical leader responsible for developing a tailored strategy to meet the AZ USMA priorities in the disease area, as well as the local specificities and patient needs.
- Develop strong working relationships in different external business settings (e.g. academia, hospitals, managed markets, private practices)
- Lead scientific exchanges with oncologists and urologists and key members of the MDT.
- Lead peer to peer scientific/medical interactions
- Gather insights on the treatment landscape, evolving healthcare environment and practice, barrier to optimal treatment and patient care or opportunities to improve outcomes of patients with cancer
- Discuss with KOLs, data and educational gaps to ensure adequate use of our medicines and to inform our R&D strategy to address patient needs
- Stay current with scientific knowledge and attend relevant scientific meetings and conferences.
- Align with internal standard processes and follow regulatory and compliance requirements, while maintaining expertise in disease state management, emerging therapies, and the competitive landscape.
- Doctorate in Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing or equivalent
- Familiarity with the drug discovery and drug development process
- Oncology experience (academia, pharmaceutical, or other)
- Pharmaceutical industry experience in Gastro-Intestinal Cancers
