Responsibilities
  • Employee relations (e.g. counseling, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, etc.)
  • Staffing activities such as: Recruiting, job postings, selection process, orientations
  • Receive, record, and process daily call-off information
  • Relay information regarding layoffs or recalls to affected associates as needed
  • Time and attendance, and/or other related approvals using the appropriate software (e.g. UKG, Workday)
  • Manage and/or lead employee engagement activities (e.g. community outreach, fundraisers, focus groups)
  • Process, file, and maintain employment records according to SBD, federal, state, and local regulations
  • Participate in, and/or lead, rapid improvement events as needed
  • Promote SBD health and safety awareness, policies, and regulations
  • Update job knowledge through continuous education, seminars, or other related programs
  • Attend department, hourly, and salaried meetings as required
  • Actively participate in the SBD Organizational Excellence (MOE) program
  • Other departmental tasks as assigned by the Director or designee
