Vikings hire Andrew Healy & Trent Kirchner as Assistant General Managers. Jun 25, 2026 at 03:19 PM Writer & Editor EAGAN, Minn. - The Vikings new-look football operations staff continues to take shape. Minnesota on Thursday announced the hires of Andrew Healy and Trent Kirchner as co-Assistant General Managers, as well as Director of Football Strategy Tyler Hamblin, Football Advisor Ryan Pace and Assistant Director of Pro Scouting Azzaam Kapadia - marking the first major additions by new Vikings General Manager Nolan Teasley. The Vikings also announced the following five promotions (individuals listed alphabetically by last name): Dabness Atkins to Scouting Assistant, Chris French to Director of Football Quantitative Methods, Claire Morrison to Football Quantitative Methods Analyst, Jack Murphy to College Area Scout and Brian Schnorr to College Scout/BLESTO. "I'm excited about the staff we've assembled and confident in the talented, hardworking group we have throughout our entire football operation," Teasley said. "The additions we've made further strengthen an already outstanding staff and bring valuable experience and perspective to our organization. We're committed to building a championship-caliber team and creating an environment where everyone can do their best work in pursuit of that goal." Healy and Kirchner come to the Vikings by way of the Browns and Seahawks, respectively. Healy most recently served as the Vice President of Research and Strategy in Cleveland; Kirchner has been Seattle's Vice President of Player Personnel since 2020. Hamblin is returning to the NFL after spending a year-plus as Senior Product Success Manager at Teamworks. Prior to May 2025, he worked for nearly eight seasons with Cleveland. Vikings fans likely will be familiar with Pace, who was the Bears General Manager from 2015-21. He most recently worked in Atlanta (2022-25), where for the past two seasons he served as the Falcons Vice President of Football Operations & Player Personnel. Kapadia spent the past three years in Seattle with Teasley. Healy spent 10 seasons with the Browns, the past six in his VP role - in which he led the integration process of data and advanced insights into all realms of football operations, contributing to all roster and strategic football decisions. Healy began his tenure in Cleveland in 2016 as Senior Strategist of Player Personnel, where he worked with the Browns personnel department on player forecasting and position modeling. During Healy's time in Cleveland, the Browns mined impact players through the NFL Draft that included CB Greg Newsome II, CB Martin Emerson, Jr., LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah and T Jedrick Willis, among others. Prior to entering the NFL, Healy worked as a professor of economics at Loyola Marymount University for 11 years. Healy earned a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Yale University. He received his Ph.D. in economics from MIT. He is a native of Lincroft, New Jersey. View photos of new Vikings GM Nolan Teasley during his first day as a Viking at the TCO Performance Center on June 3. Kirchner spent 16 seasons with the Seahawks - where he worked with Teasley - and is entering his 27th overall season in the NFL. He has played a role in 14 playoff runs, four Super Bowl appearances (three with Seattle and one with Carolina) and two championships: Super Bowl LX after the 2025 season and Super Bowl XLVIII to cap the 2013 campaign. Kirchner most recently oversaw college scouting and pro personnel in Seattle, directing all aspects of roster construction and player acquisition. He played a pivotal part in crafting multiple roster cycles, with approximately 80 Pro Bowl selections produced since 2010 when he joined the team as Assistant Director of Pro Personnel. Among the notable draft picks are CB Richard Sherman, QB Russell Wilson, LB Bobby Wagner, LB K.J. Wright and WR DK Metcalf. The Seahawks also hit on multiple undrafted free agents, including WR Doug Baldwin, WR Jermaine Kearse and T George Fant. Kirchner was elevated to Pro Personnel Director in 2013 and two years later to Co-Director of Player Personnel - a role he held for five seasons before being named Vice President of Player Personnel. Prior to joining the Seahawks, Kirchner spent eight seasons as a pro scout with the Panthers. He helped Carolina earn two division titles, two conference championships and a Super Bowl appearance. Much of Kirchner's NFL journey has had a "full-circle" feel. He began his career in Seattle as an intern, splitting time between public relations and college scouting after volunteering at the NFL Scouting Combine. He served as a college scouting coordinator for the Commanders before moving to the Panthers. Kirchner joining the Vikings returns him home. A native of Fulda, Minnesota, he graduated from St. John's University, where he played quarterback, with a degree in business management. He teamed for two seasons with Vikings Director of Player Personnel Ryan Monnens. Kirchner and his wife Jessica have two sons, Carter and Landon. Hamblin worked for nearly eight years with the Cleveland Browns - first as a scouting assistant (2017-20), then Football Operations Coordinator (2020-22) and finally being elevated to Director of Football Operations (2022-25). In the latter role, he managed day-to-day football ops initiatives and worked closely with the high performance, equipment, player engagement, video and FIS departments, while continuing his contributions to scouting, football research and strategic roster decisions. Hamblin graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and worked briefly as a high school teacher before getting his start in the NFL. The former tight end played three seasons of collegiate football for the Crimson; in 2014, he was selected to the All-Ivy League First Team after finishing the season with 11 catches for 176 yards and a touchdown. Hamblin is a native of Syracuse, New York. Pace got his NFL start in 2001 as an operations assistant for the Saints. He continued to work up through the ranks in New Orleans, moving on to scouting assistant (2002-03), professional personnel scout (2004-06), Director of Professional Scouting (2007-12) and Director of Player Personnel (2013-14). Pace grew up in Flower Mound, Texas, where he played linebacker at Edward S. Marcus High School before committing to Eastern Illinois to play collegiately. He converted to defensive end and played for the Panthers from 1996-99. He and his wife Stephanie have a daughter, Cardyn. Kapadia graduated from the University of Virginia. He started his NFL journey in Cleveland as a part-time film analyst for the Browns from 2022-23, then joined the Seahawks as a player personnel intern in July 2023. He was promoted the following summer to player personnel assistant before being elevated to a pro scout position in May 2025. Landmark announces four-year Elite partnership with Teamworks. TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference has announced a four-year Elite partnership with Teamworks, becoming among the first conferences within Division III to do so. Aligning member institutions onto the platforms, Teamworks Compliance + Recruiting centralizes the recruiting and compliance workflows that athletic departments manage daily, while Hub serves as a single operational platform for team communication, scheduling, and student-athlete engagement. Together, they give Landmark programs the connected infrastructure to reduce administrative burden and keep staff focused on what matters most. Supporting member institutions where it matters most. The path to this partnership began at the campus level. Athletic Directors across the conference were navigating a common set of challenges: managing multiple disconnected systems, stretching lean staff across competing demands, and seeking more consistent communication with student-athletes. "We were hearing consistent themes from our Athletic Directors around staff capacity and the growing complexity of managing multiple systems across recruiting, compliance, and internal communication," said Katie Boldvich, Commissioner of the Landmark Conference. "At the Division III level, many of our staff are wearing multiple hats, so inefficiencies in those areas can add up quickly." As more institutions began exploring solutions independently, the conference saw an opportunity to centralize those conversations, creating a more accessible path forward for every program, regardless of size or resources. "There's value in having systems that talk to each other," Boldvich added. "For student-athletes, it's about clarity and communication, making sure expectations, compliance touchpoints, and team information are easy to access and consistent." Why Teamworks. When evaluating technology partners, Landmark prioritized usability, integration, and realistic implementation for Division III staff. Real peer feedback played a meaningful role, with several institutions already on the platform before the conference-partnership conversation began, giving leadership direct insight into how it performed in practice. "The opportunity to bring those pieces together under a group structure made it a more practical and scalable option for the conference as a whole," Boldvich said. She also credited Teamworks' Jessica Huntley for her role in the process. "She understood the Division III landscape and our group's dynamics, and was incredibly patient as this evolved over time. That consistency made a difference in helping us ultimately get to a place that worked for our membership." What success looks like four years from now. For Boldvich, the measure of this partnership comes down to one question: Do Landmark institutions feel like their day-to-day operations are more manageable because of it? "If we can help reduce administrative strain, improve communication, and give staff more time to focus on the student-athlete experience, that's a win," she said. "It's also important that this remains a sustainable solution, something that campuses feel comfortable using, supporting financially, and continuing beyond the term of the agreement. If we get to that point, then this will have been a worthwhile investment for our membership."
Teamworks acquires PFF's enterprise business, cementing position as the leading AI platform in American football. Mar 30, 2026, 12:55 ET Unifying every layer of football data, analytics, and operations into the most comprehensive AI-powered platform. DURHAM, N.C., March 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Teamworks, the Operating System for Sports(TM) powering more than 7,000 elite sports organizations globally, today announced the acquisition of Pro Football Focus (PFF)'s enterprise (B2B) business, including its proprietary game event data and analytics platform that NFL teams and collegiate football programs rely on daily. "This is not just another acquisition. It's a turning point for how football organizations operate," said Zach Maurides, CEO and Founder of Teamworks. "Fragmented systems have long frustrated teams and limited their ability to transform raw film and player tracking data into competitive insights. The addition of PFF enables us to deliver a vertically-integrated and AI-powered football platform so teams can make faster, confident decisions in the highest-stakes moments." PFF's enterprise business adds critical data to the foundation of Teamworks' operating system, with PFF's platform trusted by every NFL team and 240+ Division I collegiate programs, and numerous leading ubiquitous throughout sports media outlets. "Winning football organizations have to excel both in the front office and on the field," said Cris Collinsworth, CEO of PFF and now Advisor to Teamworks. "Integrating PFF's trusted game data with Teamworks' AI-driven operating system gives football executives a single source for performance, game day strategy, personnel strategy, and long-term planning. That level of alignment across coaches, scouting, and executive leadership is not just exciting, but how championship organizations are built." While the PFF acquisition immediately strengthens the pro and college football market, the AI innovation it unlocks extends across elite sports globally. Teamworks serves as a technology partner to the world's top leagues and teams including 100% of the NFL, NHL and Premier League, 90% of MLB, 87% of the NBA, 83% of MLS, 99% of Division I athletic departments, and 65+ Olympic federations. That reach, paired with proprietary data assets from recent acquisitions of Zelus Analytics, Telemetry Sports, Sportlogiq, and now PFF's enterprise business, positions Teamworks to deliver unparalleled, sport-specific AI capabilities within a secure and governed platform. "It's not enough to simply create the connected infrastructure, the 'plumbing', for teams to operate," said Karim Kassam, Vice President of Teamworks Intelligence and former Head of R&D at the Pittsburgh Steelers. "We need high-quality data and timely, accurate insights flowing through those pipes exactly where and when teams need it. With the addition of PFF, Teamworks delivers the most powerful intelligence platform for American football, and we're positioned to do the same for other major sports across the globe." Through the acquisition, Cris Collinsworth and PFF's minority investors will continue as Teamworks shareholders, supporting the company's ongoing football efforts. PFF's consumer business, not included in this acquisition, will remain independent, continuing to power winning decisions for football fans across fantasy, draft, betting, and player insights. PFF.com continues as the home for the football fan community worldwide. LionTree Advisors LLC served as financial advisor to Pro Football Focus on the transaction. About Teamworks Teamworks is the leading operating system for elite sports, trusted by more than 7,000 organizations worldwide. The company combines enterprise SaaS with proprietary data and advanced analytics to deliver intelligent products that power player evaluation, game strategy, performance development, and daily operations. By unifying workflows, video, and secure data sources into a single AI-driven platform, Teamworks serves as both the technology backbone and the intelligence engine for modern sports organizations. Founded in 2006, Teamworks has expanded its data and AI capabilities through strategic acquisitions, including Zelus Analytics, Telemetry Sports, Sportlogiq, and PFF's enterprise business. Cris Collinsworth retains PFF media arm in $100M+ Teamworks acquisition. Collinsworth joins Teamworks in an advisory role as part of the deal. Credit: Phil Didion / USA TODAY NETWORK The Teamworks acquisition of Pro Football Focus is now official, per Sports Business Journal, and the deal structure offers some clarity on what it means for Cris Collinsworth's role at the company he has owned since 2014. When Wide Left's Arif Hasan first reported the deal in February, one of the biggest open questions was what would happen to PFF's public-facing content arm. Teamworks does virtually nothing on the content side with any of its acquired properties, and those working on PFF's consumer and fantasy verticals reportedly weren't even informed of the deal when it was announced internally. Per Hasan, that picture is now clearer, as the business-to-business data side is what Teamworks is acquiring and will operate under its own name and brand, while the consumer-facing side is being spun off into a separate company. It is Awful Announcing's understanding that the public-facing media side of the business will stay under Collinsworth's control. Collinsworth joins Teamworks in an advisory role as part of the deal, which Hasan confirmed is north of $100 million. Teamworks also plans to integrate its vision-tracking technology into the PFF workflow, aiming to create a unified product that combines the two data sets. The split structure also clarifies one of the more pressing questions about what this deal means for Sunday Night Football. PFF grades have been a fixture of NBC's broadcast for years, appearing on screen next to player names throughout the game, and the assumption when the sale first emerged was that NBC would have less incentive to feature them once Collinsworth no longer owned the underlying company. With the public-facing side staying under his control, that relationship appears to remain intact for now. The grades themselves have never been without controversy, as Awfulannouncing saw CBS NFL analyst J.J. Watt go on The Pat McAfee Show last season and claim the methodology is fundamentally broken, arguing that you cannot produce a definitive grade for a player without knowing his exact assignment on a given play, and Watt is hardly alone in that view. Whether the separation of the data business from the consumer side changes any of that debate remains to be seen, but at a minimum, Collinsworth retaining control of the public-facing product means the Sunday Night Football connection is not going away anytime soon.
