- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, or specialty practice is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- The candidate must be able to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- The candidate must have a professional, compassionate demeanor with clients and pets.
- The candidate must be comfortable handling high call volumes and busy schedules.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with scheduling systems are required.
- Greet clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
- Schedule appointments and manage the daily veterinary appointment calendar.
- Answer phones, respond to client inquiries, and provide accurate information about services.
- Check clients in and out while processing invoices and payments.
- Maintain accurate client and patient records in veterinary practice management software.
- Coordinate communication between veterinarians, technicians, and clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service during both routine visits and emotional situations.
- Support a positive, collaborative team environment.
