  • 10+ years in alliances, business development, or technology partnerships within B2B SaaS, with a strong track record of driving revenue through strategic ISV or platform partners.

  • Existing relationships within Workday and/or NetSuite alliances and field organizations.
  • Proven ability to build from 0→1: you’re comfortable operating in ambiguity, designing new programs, and iterating quickly with limited historical precedent.
  • Demonstrated success owning pipeline, revenue, and adoption goals tied to partner motions (sourced/influenced ARR, attach rates, integration usage, etc.).
  • Strong executive presence and influencing skills—you can earn trust and alignment with VP+ stakeholders internally and externally, even without direct authority.
  • Excellent cross‑functional collaborator, able to work effectively with Sales, Product, Marketing, RevOps, and Customer teams to align on partner strategy and execution.
  • Comfortable combining strategic thinking with hands‑on execution—from crafting multi‑year alliance strategy to running point on individual co‑sell opportunities or events.
  • Highly organized and data‑driven, with experience using CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and reporting tools to manage partner performance and communicate outcomes.
  • Periodic travel for partner meetings, conferences, and internal planning (estimated 25%+ travel).
Responsibilities
  • Own the overall strategy and roadmap for our current Workday and NetSuite technology partnerships, including integration, marketplace, and field GTM motions.
  • Define clear partner tiers, focus areas, and success metrics (pipeline, influenced revenue, attach rates, integration adoption) for each platform.
  • Build multi‑year joint business plans with Workday and NetSuite that align product roadmap, sales coverage, and marketing investments.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to identify additional certified integrations and joint solutions that are compelling to CaptivateIQ customers.
  • Ensure current and future integrations meet both technical requirements and go‑to‑market readiness (documentation, enablement materials, positioning, and reference customers).
  • Establish feedback loops from partners and customers back into the product roadmap to strengthen ecosystem differentiation.
  • Design and execute joint GTM motions (co‑sell plays, target account lists, campaigns) with Workday and NetSuite field teams and partner organizations.
  • Drive sourced and influenced pipeline through account mapping, opportunity identification, and structured co‑selling with our sales organization and partner reps.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to deliver co‑branded campaigns, events, and content that increase awareness and demand within the technology partner ecosystem.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner alliances teams, maintaining strong relationships across sales, alliances, product, and marketing stakeholders.
  • Lead regular business reviews (QBRs/PBRs) to align on pipeline, integration priorities, and mutual success metrics.
  • Navigate and resolve conflicts or ambiguity around rules of engagement, deal alignment, and roadmap expectations.
  • Act as the internal champion for Workday and NetSuite, educating sales, solution consulting, partner success, and customer teams on how and when to bring these partners into deals.
  • Build simple, repeatable playbooks and enablement assets for internal teams and partners (how to co‑sell, when to engage, messaging, integration value props).
  • Work closely with Partner Operations to ensure partner processes (deal registration, lead sharing, reporting) are scalable and visible, enabling you to track performance and ROI.
  • Define and track KPIs for the Workday and NetSuite partnerships, including sourced and influenced pipeline, win rates, integration adoption, marketplace activity, and partner NPS where applicable.
  • Provide clear, data‑backed updates to leadership on performance, risks, and investment recommendations across the tech partner portfolio.

  • AI agents handling quotas and payouts create catastrophic trust risk if one payout error hits a marquee customer.
  • CaptivateIQ's platform breadth invites execution sprawl; planning, incentives, and MCP can dilute focus.

What's new at CIQ: july 2026.

What's new at CIQ: july 2026. Every month CaptivateIQ, Inc. highlight innovative, new capabilities from CaptivateIQ. Stay tuned for the latest updates helping organizations operate more efficiently, hit targets, and prepare for future growth. Here's what shipped today. CaptivateIQ Incentives. A new user interface experience (Open Beta). CaptivateIQ Incentives has a new look. The refreshed interface delivers an updated layout, visual theme, and dashboard along with structural upgrades that make plan building faster: * Next generation workbooks: Sheets now live in a vertical panel across the Data Workbook, Global Attributes, and Transformation Workbook, replacing horizontal tabs. * Plan components: Optional templates for flat rate, tiered rate, and plan credit logic give you a proven starting point. Add custom calculation columns without detaching from the plan component. * Modernized payee assignment: A structured table replaces the spreadsheet grid, with import and export, an add payee flow, and a worksheet toggle. * Clearer terminology: Calculation Workbook becomes Plan Logic, Employee Assumptions becomes Payees, and Payout Dates becomes Pay Period End Dates. Your existing plans, logic, and data carry over unchanged. You can try the new interface experience by toggling on the "Try the new UI" toggle in your account. The toggle is optional through September 8. Starting September 9, the new UI experience becomes the default, and the toggle will remain available if you want to switch back to the classic view. For more information or to ask questions around this open beta, contact your dedicated Customer Success Manager or its Support team with any questions. Custom payee email templates (GA). Customize the subject line, greeting, body copy, and CTA of payee notification emails using structured field overrides. Every notification your payees receive can now match your team's voice. Payee statement links (GA). Embed clickable external record links in statement data tables so payees can jump straight to the source record. Statement authors can also add internal anchor links between statement sections for faster navigation. Electronic signatures for Native Plan Document Management (closed beta). CaptivateIQ, Inc. is continuing to develop Native Plan Document Management and want to share an update on how eSignature will work as the feature moves toward GA. After evaluating the best path forward, CaptivateIQ, Inc. has chosen to use DocuSign for the eSignature signing layer in a tightly integrated hybrid model. This lets CaptivateIQ, Inc. focus its engineering on the parts of the workflow that are uniquely CIQ - comp-aware templating, recipient assignment tied to your CIQ data, and an audit trail connected to the comp record. DocuSign handles the signing, disclosures, and certificate. Two flows are supported: receipt-only acknowledgements, where a payee confirms they've reviewed their plan, stays fully native in CIQ and doesn't require DocuSign. Legally binding eSignatures route through DocuSign using your existing account. CaptivateIQ, Inc. is also continuing to build additional flexibility into the workflow and will share updates as that develops. Native Plan Document Management is currently in closed beta if you are interested in testing native plan document workflows in CIQ and with the e-signature option via Docusign. Contact your Customer Success Manager to learn more. Platform. Native Workday integration (GA). Sync data directly from Workday into CaptivateIQ using a native integration. IT admins get full control over the connection without relying on Workato. Sandbox merge conflict redesign (GA). The merge conflict page is gone. A banner now notifies you of drift in production since your last sync, with the option to view and download the drift changes. Promotions proceed without getting blocked by the old conflict flow. SFTP authentication with your own public key (GA). Upload your own public key and authenticate to the CaptivateIQ SFTP server with a private key you generate and control. Teams with strict key management policies, like HSM-managed keys or SOC 2 rotation requirements, no longer need to download a CIQ-generated private key. Audit Logs upgraded CSV exports (GA). Two new options during CSV export of audit logs, which allows you to add absolute parents instead of relative ones, as well as explode before and after changes into separate lines. Self-service managed data connectors (Open Beta). Set up, configure, and manage your own data connections from Google Sheets, BigQuery, and HubSpot. Create new connections, choose the data you want to pull, sync it into CaptivateIQ, and adjust the configuration as your needs change, all without involving CIQ support. Contact your Customer Success Manager to get started. CaptivateIQ planning. Sales planning enhancements (GA). A set of updates driven by customer feedback: * Bulk delete property values * Delete a property * Delete saved filters * Edit planning cycle dates, so you can clone a plan for your next fiscal year or planning cycle * Changing the data source for a data object Revenue Planning Agent (open beta). The Revenue Planning Agent moves from reading your model to changing it. Three upgrades ship this month: * Write capabilities with confirmation. Ask the agent to update a quota, add a raw or derived column, restructure territories, assign accounts, or create a worksheet. Before it acts, the agent shows you exactly what it will change and the downstream impact. You confirm, it executes. * Cross-scenario comparison. Ask questions across multiple planning scenarios in one conversation, like which scenario carries the highest total quota or how territory assignments differ between two plans, and get a plain-language summary of what actually changed. * Deterministic data analysis. When the agent totals, counts, or computes over your worksheet data, the platform runs the math and the agent explains the result. Numbers come from real calculation, not a model estimate. Contact your Customer Success Manager to join the beta. Approval workflows: line-level comments and validations (beta starting july 31). Approval workflows now support review at the row level: * Line-Level Comments. Any approver on an active step can comment on individual rows. Comments and edits appear together in a single chronological timeline per row, so reviewers see the full history of every change. * Validations. Admins configure validation rules against derived columns and choose the behavior: require a comment when a value falls outside expectations, or block submission entirely. Validations evaluate in real time at submission. Get started with these new features. To learn more about any of these features or to get implementation assistance on beta features, please contact your Customer Success Manager. CaptivateIQ, Inc. is committed to continuously improving its platform based on your feedback. Thank you for being part of the CaptivateIQ community! Read more for additional information on feature releases in its NEW Knowledge Base! The CaptivateIQ Knowledge Base just got a major upgrade - smarter search and a cleaner experience. Native MCP support coming soon.

CaptivateIQ launches AI agents for sales planning & Compensation.

CaptivateIQ launches AI agents for sales planning & Compensation. CaptivateIQ, the intelligent sales performance management platform, unveiled CaptivateIQ Agents, a portfolio of AI agents purpose-built for every stage of the compensation and sales planning lifecycle. The company made this announcement on stage at Captivate, its annual user conference held in Austin, Texas. "Compensation and sales planning have been broken for too long," said Mark Schopmeyer, co-founder and co-CEO of CaptivateIQ. "Sales cycles and market conditions are changing more frequently than ever, making annual planning a thing of the past. The teams trying to keep up are underwater and sales feels every miss. CaptivateIQ Agents collapse what used to take weeks into minutes, so teams can finally move as fast as the market." Introducing CaptivateIQ Agents. With CaptivateIQ Agents, compensation and sales planning moves from disjointed workflows that teams execute to a connected system that teams orchestrate. Unlike generic AI tools, CaptivateIQ Agents are grounded in and governed by the business. Built on SmartGrid - CaptivateIQ's real-time modeling architecture - the agents connect compensation logic, planning data, and workflows within one unified system, so every agent operates with the full context and precision these processes demand. Because they work directly with live data, every calculation, answer, and output reflects exactly where the business stands right now. Every action is also traceable, reviewable, and governed, with built-in approvals ensuring nothing is deployed without human oversight. The portfolio includes three agents, each built for a different stage of the compensation and sales planning lifecycle, working together as one connected system: * The Compensation Builder Agent builds net-new compensation plans, work that has traditionally required deep technical expertise and weeks of manual configuration. Teams can now go from idea to a fully modeled, explainable plan in minutes, with capabilities including plan creation, formula and column generation, and intelligent debugging that explains errors and walks users through the fix. * The Compensation Operations Agent takes on the day-to-day work of running live commission plans, replacing the manual effort teams typically spend on payout QA, error tracing, and fielding questions from reps. It delivers instant, trusted answers to compensation inquiries from reps and managers; validates data and catches calculation errors before payouts run; manages approval workflows; and surfaces insights that give admins confidence in every cycle. * The Revenue Planning Agent enables leaders to simply describe their strategic intent while the agent automatically builds, refines, and validates the plan, including automatic territory and account assignments, so teams can adapt as the business evolves rather than waiting until next year's planning cycle. Future capabilities will expand the agent to handle the full sales planning lifecycle, from annual planning through in-season change management. "Each agent owns a distinct workflow in the compensation and planning lifecycle," added Schopmeyer. "This means they can take on the manual, repetitive parts of the job so comp and RevOps leaders can focus on shaping plan strategy, modeling what-ifs, and helping their go-to-market teams hit their numbers. This isn't about replacing the experts. It's about giving them back time to do the work that actually moves the business." Alongside CaptivateIQ Agents, the company today also announced CaptivateIQ MCP Server, which allows enterprise customers to securely connect CaptivateIQ's live compensation and planning data to any AI tool in their stack. "CaptivateIQ Agents will meaningfully change implementation work for partners like us," said Bartek Strozek, CEO of SANDS Partner. "In less complex use cases, what currently takes weeks should take days, with agents handling the manual configuration that has historically slowed every project down. Once MCP Server is available, partners will have a real opportunity to extend the platform further, building an ecosystem of integrations and add-ons that gives customers more flexibility across their broader tech stack."
