Who We Want
The Director of Open Deck will be the business stakeholder in scaling our Open Deck Mode. We are looking for someone to leverage their passion & experience to help develop & deliver growth in Arrive’s Open Deck network, presence & footprint. From day one you will develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to position Arrive as a leader in the Open Deck space. You will play a vital role in fostering a high-performing team culture, driving collaboration, innovation, and exceptional results.
What You’ll Do
- Strategically grow Arrive’s open deck footprint
- Have experience in building and executing at a high level the cradle to grave open deck model
- Sell and communicate to customers on Arrive’s value prop and why we are the prime choice for open deck
- Lead your team and others across the department to create a vision and buy in
- Drive results and execute Arrive’s overarching sales strategy and connect it with open deck goals
- Collaborate cross functionally with departments across RevGen, Tech, and BizOps to execute projects and initiatives
- Strategically price both contract and spot open deck freight
- Support quoting (Spot & Contract) opportunities as the primary Open Deck pricing stakeholder
- Partner with Client Solutions on RFP opportunities
- Become an expert in the Arrive business model, our competitive advantages, and our proprietary software
- Bring energy, intensity, and a win-the-day attitude to the sales floor!
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in the 3PL open deck space.
- Proven track record of success in building and leading high-performing open deck teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Passion for innovation and customer service.
