Requirements
  • Proven track record of delivering results and leading growing, high-impact teams
  • At least 5+ years experience building highly performant web applications with outstanding UX
  • Experience leading large scale modernization efforts to revamp legacy systems from start to finish
  • Experience analyzing, benchmarking and optimizing web application performance across the entire stack
  • Experience with at least 3 direct reports in a leadership role
  • In-depth experience with Typescript, React, GraphQL
  • Experience scaling a Ruby on Rails backend architecture is a plus
  • Prior experience building data-intensive visualizations such as graphs & maps are a plus
  • A strong understanding of computer science fundamentals - data structures, system design, cloud computing, full-stack development etc.
  • Passion to build a positive and fun engineering culture
Responsibilities
  • Leading a team of 2-4 engineers focused on improving reporting & overview experience in the platform
  • Mentoring teams of talented engineers within full-stack web engineering
  • Promoting software development best-practices and conducting rigorous code reviews
  • Planning and architecting web pages for maintainability, great UX, and scalability
  • Identifying and solving technical challenges
  • Working closely with Product Managers and Designers to align requirements and priorities
  • Conducting interviews to attract high-performing candidates
  • Balancing and prioritizing projects to achieve company objectives
