Required Skills
  • Minimum of three years experience as a Facilities/Building Engineer in Healthcare, Life Science, or Class A High Rise buildings
  • Familiarity with HVAC and electrical codes
  • Compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other ticketing systems: Jira, Service Now, or Angus
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Valid Driver License
  • Ability to lift and maneuver 50+ lbs frequently throughout the shift
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical, mechanical equipment, and BMS systems in leased buildings and life science space
  • Perform general maintenance duties, preventive maintenance, and emergency maintenance as needed
  • Partner with EH&S to ensure safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials
  • Escort vendors to ensure completion of jobs safely and to satisfaction
  • Complete all assigned preventative maintenance work orders
  • Develop and coordinate preventative maintenance programs for equipment reliability and safety
  • Analyze and provide input into equipment drawings for construction or remodeling projects
  • Provide oversight and inspection of construction work at various stages until project completion
