- Frontend engineering experience with Svelte, React, or similar frameworks; built responsive, real-time interfaces; care about state management, testing, and usability.
- Comfort with telemetry, observability, and debugging tools such as structlog, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana; think about failure modes and diagnosability.
- Driven by technical depth and product impact; eager to work with roboticists, ML engineers, and scientists to influence real-world outcomes.
- Design, build, and maintain a variety of tools that the AI agent can access and operate, including running Bayesian optimization, referencing scientific literature, querying an internal experimental database, and queueing quantum chemistry simulation workflows.
- Help build and push the AI agent toward scientific superintelligence.
- Have built SDKs and developer tools.
- Exposure to scientific computing, quantum chemistry, or ML-in-the-loop pipelines and infrastructure.
- Experience working with structured telemetry, logs, or time-series data.
- Comfort developing and debugging in hybrid on-prem/cloud environments (for example, Docker, Kubernetes).
