Director – Credits and Incentives

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Directs credit & incentives procurement projects for DMA clients • Interacts with DMA and client personnel • Oversees communications with client team including tax, real estate, operations, and C-suite • Works with state, local, and other economic development officials to maximize incentives • Participates in business development efforts within assigned region(s) • Participates in marketing and communications initiatives • Responsible for quality of result and client satisfaction within assigned region(s) • Maintains excellent knowledge of state, local, federal and utility incentives • Represents clients and presents projects during public meetings • Conducts on-site inspection of client plants and operations • Works with business development professionals and operations leadership to drive incentive opportunities for clients and prospective clients • Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Participate in the talent acquisition process for the team to add top talent • Perform other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required • 7+ years experience in credits & incentives, property tax consulting, or related field • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word • Organizational and interpersonal skills required • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Valid driver’s license
