What you’ll achieve
As a Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.

You will:
•Contribute to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software/storage environments
•Prepare, review and evaluate software/storage specifications for products and systems
•Contribute to the development and implementation of test strategies for complex software products and systems/for storage products and systems

•Hands on Experience with development experience on leading architecture of Infrastructure on distributed system

Essential Requirements

• 8+ years of development experience on software with a bachelor’s degree; or 6+ years with a master’s degree; or 3+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience 
• 2+ year experience in a technical leadership role 
• Good coding experience with Go, Python on Linux. 

• Component/system level design skill – which could work with architect to complete design proposal
• Experience working on Kubernetes or other container technology is a plus 

Desirable Requirements

• Having experience on developing enterprise storage production is a plus. 
• Experience developing CI CD infrastructure and automation framework

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position: $167,200 to $209,000.
