What we are looking for:
- Demonstrated understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, medical affairs, and requirements for health technology assessment
- Sufficient understanding of relevant methods to be able to oversee model parameterisation
- Performs model conceptualisation, programming, analysis, and validation
- Can identify considerations relevant to the model development given available evidence and communicate these within deliverables (e.g., protocol and technical reports)
What you can expect day to day:
- Managing the delivery of components of projects by collaborating with other staff members to ensure high quality outputs are delivered on time and within scope
- Developing client-ready deliverables including protocols, statistical analysis plans, technical reports, and slides
- Contributing to short-term resourcing discussions
- Reviewing update slides/minutes and actions for overall study and viewed by client as independent research for specific study or component(s)
- Leading client calls and responding to emails, inviting input from senior team members with methodological/subject matter expertise where appropriate
- Acting as a line manager and mentoring direct reports
- Contributing to the development of proposals and presentations under guidance of more senior team members with methodological/subject matter expertise
Requisite experience and qualifications:
- 4 to 6 years’ experience in health economics and outcomes research
- Master’s degree in a subject related to health services research e.g., health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or science (biology/biochemistry etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with R (not essential)
