- A Master's degree in a related field, or a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Current certification as an Athletic Trainer through the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification.
- Current Athletic Trainer license in the State of Alabama.
- Current Basic Life Support/Healthcare Provider Certification.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability with scheduling and patient needs.
- Provide prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries according to professional standards of practice.
- Coordinate patient care with healthcare professionals and educate patients and families on treatment plans and injury prevention.
- Independently make decisions that positively impact patient health and quality of life.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with billing procedures when applicable.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, educational programs, and community outreach events.
- Assist with special events and injury prevention education programs outside of the clinic setting as needed.
- Maintain compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support patient care under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist or Medical Doctor when applicable.
- Adapt to flexible scheduling needs, including varying shifts and occasional event support.
- NASM-CES certification.

- NSCA-CSCS certification.
- Functional Movement Screen certification.
- Selective Functional Movement Assessment certification.
- A valid Alabama driver's license and insurable driving record.
