Requirements
  • A high school diploma or General Educational Development credential is required.
  • Three to five years of manufacturing or assembly experience is required.
  • One to three years of supervisory or team leadership experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly operations is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and technical documents is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems is required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and machinery is required.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds as needed is required.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. is required.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of assembly line employees.
  • Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of work orders.
  • Ensure products are assembled according to quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Enforce workplace safety policies and procedures.
  • Train, coach, and develop assembly personnel on processes, quality, safety, and performance expectations.
  • Assist with semi-annual performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Investigate and resolve production, equipment, and personnel issues.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to optimize operations.
  • Monitor labor utilization, productivity, and efficiency metrics.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels and manage employee attendance and scheduling.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning or material requirements planning systems is preferred.
  • Experience with manufacturing or assembly supervision beyond the required range is desirable.
