  • Five (5) years experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. (NOTE: Five (5) years of additional system administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree).
  • Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAT Level I (SEC+, A+, NET+, CCNA)
  • Knowledgeable in the following categories: Power shell, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Active Directory, Trelix ePolicy Orchestrator, Virtualization and VMWare, and Amazon Web Services.
Responsibilities
  • Support implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Windows servers (2012, 2016, and 2019), including the provisioning of a Windows 11 VDI infrastructure for enclave access and program support.
  • Support Intelink IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, etc.
  • Provides Tier 2 and Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
  • Escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Creates and updates ServiceNow tickets accordingly.
  • Manages GPOs, applies security and system patching and coordinates/supports all service leads utilizing Windows servers across the Intelink program.
  • Configures and manages Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Optimizes system operations and resource utilization and performs system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Analyzes and resolves complex problems associated with servers, windows applications, and software integration.
  • May be required to respond to after-hours requests as required in a 24 x 7 environment.
