Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong background in machine learning, with coursework or experience in relevant techniques such as time series analysis, regression, and neural networks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB for machine learning model development and implementation.
  • Familiarity with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
Responsibilities
  • Research and explore various machine learning techniques and algorithms suitable for energy forecasting applications.
  • Collect, preprocess, and analyze relevant data sets, including weather data, energy production data, and historical consumption patterns.
  • Develop and implement machine learning models for energy forecasting, leveraging techniques such as time series analysis, regression, and neural networks.
  • Train and validate machine learning models using historical data and evaluate their performance using appropriate metrics.
  • Optimize and fine-tune machine learning models to improve accuracy, robustness, and scalability.
  • Integrate machine learning models into existing systems and platforms for real-time energy forecasting and optimization.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in machine learning techniques, energy forecasting methodologies, and related technologies.
