Requirements
  • Knowledge of Yamaha QL1 Audio board, REED R8050 Sound meter, Shure Axient wireless system, QBox, Making/Fixing XLR cables, WAVES audio program, PC and Mac OS
  • Experience working in a professional control room
  • Experience in college or professional sports industry preferred
  • Passion for and knowledge of baseball
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays throughout the year
Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-event walk-throughs to prepare and test audio equipment
  • Log audio measurements from different locations around the ballpark
  • Scan and deploy RF frequencies
  • Utilize wireless mics for pregame ceremonies and special events
  • Run cables for special events as needed
  • Become proficient with the in-park audio board
  • Control audio routing and patching for Fenway Park event spaces
  • Monitor audio levels in the ballpark throughout the event
  • Work with the Chief Engineer to identify and troubleshoot issues throughout the ballpark
