Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years' hands-on experience working in an automated manufacturing, mining, refinery, power generation or similar industrial environment.
  • Ability to interpret and follow electrical schematics proving competency troubleshooting equipment with voltages up to 480V.
  • Qualified per NFPA70E, able to work on voltages up to 480V.
  • Working knowledge of UL508A is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical installations, demolitions, repairs and modifications to plant control systems, scope includes but not limited to: installation of hardware, installation of conduit and wiring, and terminations.
  • Electrical subject matter expert for all I&C instrumentation and motor controls including: VFD’s, motor starters, instrumentation (discrete, analog, analytical), control panel components (relays, UPS, power supplies, IO cards, line reactors, and braking resistors,) etc.
  • Perform CAT6 network cabling installations including terminations and qualification testing.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment such as meggers, multi-meters, amp clamps, power monitors, IR gun, etc.
  • Maintain electrical schematics, redlining to match as built and working with engineering and drafting to keep updated copies available.
  • Ensure work is compliant with NFPA70(NEC), NFPA79.

Redwood Materials is developing a closed-loop, domestic supply chain for lithium-ion batteries, focusing on engineering sustainability by transforming the battery supply chain and offering large-scale sources of domestic anode and cathode materials produced from an increasing number of recycled batteries.
