- The Engineering Technician will perform electrical and mechanical modifications on existing production, packaging, and material handling equipment.
- This role will assist with trials on new resin processes per Manufacturing Engineering department requests.
- Supply technical assistance to the facility to maintain and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Responsible for complex operations and duties in production.
- Track equipment performance and adjust setups, calibrations, and alignments.
- Confer with other specialists when serious problems occur.
- Track data associated with production equipment.
- Suggest revisions for methods of operation, material handling, or equipment layout.
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and formulas.
- Confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
- Recommend changes to production standards for achieving the best quality within the limits of equipment capacity.
- Report any inconsistencies and use standard repair procedures.
- Responsible for solving problems requiring more extensive knowledge and experience.
- Ultimately, you will be a vital team member and will help us ensure that we are continuously improving and innovating in a safe and efficient environment.
